FR4 PCB for industrial control board (flow meter)
Applications: industrial production, energy metering, environmental protection, transportation, bio-pharmaceutical, agricultural production, national defense construction, scientific research, etc.
The English name of the flow meter is flowmeter, which is defined by the National Scientific and Technical Terminology Committee as: a meter indicating the measured flow rate and/or the total amount of fluid in the selected time interval. Simply put, it is a meter used to measure the flow of fluid in a pipe or open channel.
The flowmeter is further divided into a differential pressure flowmeter, a rotameter, a throttle flowmeter, a slit flowmeter, a volumetric flowmeter, an electromagnetic flowmeter, an ultrasonic flowmeter etc. Classified by media: liquid flow meter and gas flow meter.
Metrology is the eye of industrial production. Flow measurement is one of the components of metrology science and technology. It has a close relationship with the national economy, national defense construction, and scientific research. Doing this work has an important role in ensuring product quality, improving production efficiency, and promoting the development of science and technology, especially in the current era of energy crisis and industrial automation. Flowmeters are in the national economy. The status and role of is more obvious.
The unit m³/h is commonly used in engineering. It can be divided into flow rate and total flow. The instantaneous flow rate is the amount of the effective cross section of the closed pipe or open channel per unit time. The material flowing through can be gas. Liquid, solid; cumulative flow is the cumulative amount of fluid flowing through a closed pipe or open channel at a certain time interval (one day, one week, one month, one year). The instantaneous flow rate can also be used to calculate the cumulative flow rate by integrating the instantaneous flow rate, so that the instantaneous flow meter and the integrated flow meter can also be converted into each other.
Application range
Flow metering is widely used in industrial production, energy metering, environmental protection, transportation, bio-pharmaceutical, agricultural production, national defense construction, scientific research and foreign trade, and people's life. In the production of petroleum industry, from oil extraction, transportation, refining and smelting processing to trade sales, flow metering runs through the whole process. Flow metering is inseparable in any link. Otherwise, normal production and trade relations of the petroleum industry will not be guaranteed. In the chemical industry, the inaccurate flow metering will cause the chemical composition ratio to be out of balance, and the quality of the product cannot be guaranteed. Serious production safety accidents will occur. In the power industry production, the measurement and regulation of liquid, gas, steam and other media flow plays an important role. Accuracy of flow metering is not only of great economic significance for ensuring that power plants operate under optimal parameters, but with the development of high-temperature and high-pressure large-capacity units, flow measurement has become an important part of ensuring the safe operation of power plants. If the instantaneous feed water flow rate of a large-capacity boiler is interrupted or reduced, it may cause a serious dry pan or pipe burst accident. This requires the flow measuring device not only to accurately measure, but also to issue an alarm signal in time. In the steel industry production, the flow measurement of circulating water and oxygen (or air) in the steelmaking process is one of the important parameters to ensure product quality. In the light industry, food, textile and other industries, it is also inseparable from the flow meter.
The flowmeter should try to avoid ferromagnetic objects and equipment with strong electromagnetic fields (such as large motors, large transformers, etc.) to prevent the magnetic field from affecting the working magnetic field and flow signal of the sensor.
