Introduction:

RA-915S uses a pyrolysis technique to heat release mercury from a solid sample to form mercury vapor, which is analyzed by absorption of a 254 nm resonance emission line by mercury atoms, background correction by Zeeman effect, and direct analysis of solids by pyrolysis. Mercury can be used for mercury detection of flue gas after enrichment by adsorption tube method.

Detection method:

The US EPA30B active adsorption tube flue gas detection method is a reference method for flue gas mercury emission detection. The method uses the adsorption tube to capture mercury in the flue gas for adsorption sampling, and then desorbs for concentration analysis, and can measure the total gaseous mercury concentration and the classified mercury concentration of the flue gas, ie (Hgo+ and Hg2+), the measurement result More accurate than the 30A method. This method is now widely used for the validation of routine online mercury mercury monitoring systems and has been used repeatedly for national and international research projects including the UNEP UN Mercury Project. The US EPA Mercury Monitoring Toolkit (MMT) is a Method 30 method that provides an efficient and convenient on-site solution package.

Flue gas sampling and detection systems mainly involve mercury adsorption sampling (EPA Method 30B Sorbent Trap), thermal analysis (EPA7473) and Zeeman effect atomic absorption spectroscopy (ZEEMAN-AAS). The system can realize all the monitoring items involved in the current pilot analysis of mercury emission testing of coal-fired power plants. Including: monitoring of mercury content such as waste gas, wastewater, solid waste, coal burning and fly ash.

Analysis process

The analysis process is to use mercury special adsorption material (activated carbon, etc.) in the special adsorption tube, sample the flow rate in the chimney through the sampling probe, the mercury is enriched in the adsorption material, and the sampling flow rate and sampling time are recorded. The mercury analyzer was used to analyze the mercury content of the adsorbed material, and the mercury concentration in the flue gas was calculated by sampling flow rate and sampling time.
