300 MCM XHHW Aluminum Cable Wire Building THHN THWN

1 Applicant:

THHN/THWN-2 is suitable for general wiring applications as defined by the NEC (National Electrical Code) for 600V applications. THHN/THWN-2 is available in sizes ranging from #6 to 1000MCM. The conductors are made with 8000 series aluminum alloy and insulated with tough, heat and moisture resistant PVC (polyvinyl chloride), over which a nylon (polymide) jacket is applied. All sizes are made with a friction reducing compound to aid in the installation process.

2.Construction:

Conductor: 8000 series alumnum alloy stranded sizes 6AWG up to 1000MCM

Insulation: Premium Grade Flame Retardant Polyvinyl Chloride( PVC)

Jacket: Tough Polyamide (Nylon)

General purpose building wire for services, feeders and branch circuits.

Temperature rating not to exceed:

THHN/THWN: 90°C dry and dump, 600V

THHN/THWN: 75 °C wet or in oil, 600V

THWN-2: 90°C Dry, wet or in oil,600V
