Bi-metal layer wear plates for dragline bucket liners/ Chromium Carbide Overlay (CCO) Wear Plate is an extra hard clad plate with additives that gives even higher abrasion resistance in high stress applications with moderate to low impact conditions.It is a double-layer metal material composed of two different metals - steel and alloys which are firmly connected to each other and it is a unified whole.
The layers have different functions and in accordance with these terms they are called – the basic layer deposited layer. Basic layer assumes mechanical loads and deposited layer has high wear resistance and has protective function.
Chromium Carbide Overlay (CCO) Wear Plates are plates, the basis of which can be either a plain low carbon steel or heat resistant steel. Special wear resistant coating is applied on the basic layer with the help of robotic powder cladding.
