Tempered:

According to GB/T9711 different line pipe performance requirements, according to the different tempering temperature tempering can be divided into the following categories:
1.tempering (150-250 degrees)
the resulting low temperature tempering is tempered martensite. its purpose is to maintain in the hardened steel of high hardnedd and high wear resistance under the premise of reducing the stress hardening and brittleness to avoid premature damage or chipping when used. it is mainly used for a variety of high-carbon of cutting tools, measuring tools, GB/T9711 line pipe and other pieces of rolling bearings as well as carburizing, tempering hardness is generally HRC58-64
2.tempering (250-500 degrees)
tempering income is tempered troostite, the aim is to obtain a high yield strength, high toughness and the elastic limit. therefore, it is mainly used for a varisty GB/T9711 line pipe and hot die processing, tempering hardness is generally HRC35-50.
3.tempering (500-650 degrees)
the resulting high temperature tempering is tempered sorbite, admiral quenching and tempering habit of combining heat treatment called quenching, which aims to get the strength, hardness and ductility, toughness are better mechanical properties, therefore, widely used in automotive, GB/T9711.1 line pipe, machine tools and other important structural parts such as connecting rods, bolts, gears and shafts, after tempering hardness is generally HB200-330.
