According to SY/T6194-96 "Petroleum Casing", it can be divided into short threaded casing and its coupling and long threaded casing and its coupling.
Specification and appearance quality
(1) According to SY/T6194-96, the length of domestic casing is variable, and its range is 8-13m. However, casings less than 6m can be provided, and the number of casings should not exceed 20%.
(2) There shall be no folding, striation, delamination, cracking, rolling and scarring on the inner and outer surfaces of casing. These defects should be completely removed, and the removal depth should not exceed 12.5% of the nominal wall thickness.
(3) No folding, striation, delamination, cracking, rolling, scarring and other defects shall be allowed on the outer surface of the coupling.
(4) The surface of casing and coupling threads should be smooth, and burrs, tearing and other defects sufficient to cause thread interruption to affect strength and tight connection shall not be allowed.
