Rotary airlock valve is a compact mechanical device for continuously discharging bulk powders or granules under gravity flow. By definition it is the simplest of machines having only one moving part (ignoring the drive); a multi-vane rotor revolving in close contact in the housing and where the housing has an inlet at the top, and an outlet at the bottom.
Despite its simplicity it offers several functional uses:
* Control product flow rate to the required rate (fixed or variable)
* Maintain a gas pressure differential between the inlet & outlet (airlock)
* Act as an explosion barrier
* Act as a Flame Barrier
* Act as a process isolator / barrier

Structure and working principle

Rotary airlock device is improved open impeller clearance wind device, its structure is one of the impeller, casing, the end cover, bearings, organic glass tube (with or without) according to need, such as parts of institution, pull its upper flange and discharger of the discharging mouth is linked together, accept from a discharger material, and in the process of continuous rotary impeller, the material from the bottom. Impeller with open type, that plays a role in blocking plug and reduce the machine weight and reduce the appearance.

Inlet/outlet	The inlet is circular and connected with the bin or pipeline, and the outlet is sited.
Set the exhaust port	The high-pressure gas taken out by the impeller rotation is sent to the exhaust device through the exhaust port to discharge, so as to improve the filling rate of materials.
Drive mode	Chain drive, according to the space can also choose direct motor drive.
Outer arrangement of bearing	Prevent dust from invading bearing; Increase the temperature range of the equipment.

Working principle

The Blow Through Rotary Airlock Valve is used in dilute phase pneumatic conveying system, The conveying line pipe connects directly into the rotating pocket.

The inlet and outlet of flow located bottom of endplate of housing, The pressurization airflow into the valve ,directly connect into the V-type pocket of impeller, enter conveying line from outlet port after the materials mixed.

By this legend design can efficiently clean up powdery material adhered to V-type pocket .In-place mounted benefit by compact shape design.(This device is not ideal for high hardend and abrasive particle material. relevant device please click our drop-thru rotary airlock valve)
