Please refer to the chemical changes allowed in the A/SA106 specification sheet. Please note that ASTM International (formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)) is inconsistent with ASME's specifications for Class B seamless pressure piping. ASTM A106 Class B pipes and ASME SA 106 Class B pipes now have an acceptable proportion of manganese in different specification ranges.
