The device is used in coal mines containing explosive gas(methane) and coal dust and applicable to the power supply system with frequency AC 50Hz and voltage AC1140(660)V to realize controlling the start and stop of the belt conveyor and protecting the motor and the line. The device uses SIEMENS PLC as the control core and the 7-inch display embedded computer as the human-computer interaction interface. Support Profibus- DP, industrial Ethernet communication, networking with the ground control center to achieve centralized control. The starter is designed for belt conveyor, it assembles belt conveyor drive and protection, lighting, etc. So, the functions of start and stop control, automatic tension, coal control, gate motor control, tape machine control, deviation, over-temperature, slip and other basic protection and start warning and fault warning and so on can be realized.
