Ice cooling fiber is made from mica. The fiber has good thermal conductivity, water absorption and adsorption. The heat transfer rate is 5 times higher than that of polyester. High hydration of mica (i.e. high moisture), could also lead to the cooling effect. All of these make the mica become a new cooling material.
