Application:
Bran finisher type MWDF removes the last trace of flour from the bran, thus recovering flour that has commercial
value, while at the same time producing a good quality bran which is relatively free from starch. The machine
thus increases flour extraction in a flour mill. It has a compact design, easy operation with high capacity.
Working principle:
The MWDF bran finisher principally consists of a mild steel casing, support base, rotor with beater rails, sieve and
a V-belt drive motor.
The casing and support base is made of 4 mm mild steel, there is an air inlet on the top side.
Lower Aspiration:
For aspiration, a wire gauze mesh is clamped below the inlet flange, which connects the aspiration pipe to the
receiving hopper. In this way, the warm air is drawn downwards and the inner space aspirated. Fresh air enters
through the wire gauze and through the slot holes.
Upper Aspiration should only be used if lower aspiration is not possible.
The rotor consists of a shaft, beater rails and spiders.
The rotating adjustable beater rails of the rotor act on the tangentially entering stream of bran and throw it against
the baffle wall and the sieve. Each beater rail acts on the bran many times until it has passed through the machine.
This removes the flour particles from the husk and the flour falls through the sieve and into the receiving hopper
underneath. The special design of the sieve jacket prevents the bran stream from simply rotating continuously
with the rotor. Perforation in the flexible sieve is kept open by a slight vibration. The machine must work under
vacuum. If the through are not removed pneumatically, the machine must be connected to an aspiration
