The atomizing dampener is a specialized machine used to add a trace amount of water to the surface of grains.

Advantages

1. As the name implies, this machine converts liquid water into small water drops with diameter of smaller than

100 microns, thus realizing uniform moisture addition.

2. Before grinding process, a 30-minute-long dampening treatment is necessary, and the moisture addition rate

is 0.2%-0.5% accordingly. The water is added to the bran rather than the wheat endosperm, so the bran will be

softened to improve its cellulose's resistance to mechanical force. As a result, when grinding wheat, its bran will

keep intact, and this results in improved flour quality in several aspects. For example, the bran speck quantity will

be reduced, the flour color will be whitened, and the ash content will be cut down.
