A plant harvesting machine for collecting fresh, tender tea leaves from the top of a tea tree.

According to different picking methods, there are two types of selective tea picking machine and non-selective tea picking machine.

Selective tea picking machine has the type of break type and friction type.

The former USES the principle of bending and breaking to pick fresh tea leaves and keep the thick old branches.

The latter is to use a pair of elastic pick finger to clip tea, and by the static friction between pick finger and tea, pick new leaves and retain the old leaves and buds.

Because of low production efficiency and high requirements on operating conditions of tea garden, selective tea picking machine has not been widely popularized.

The non - selective tea picking machine is also called shear tea picking machine.

Because of its simple structure and easy to use, it has been popularized.
