Plastic film surface corona treatment machine /corona treater

PH series corona treatment is to process all kinds of film, plate, aluminum foil, dulv mo(PP,PE,PET,OPP,PS,ABS), paper, fabric and so on. This machine is using microcomputer to adjust power and digital display which is very easy to learn. At the same time, it can process different kinds of films accordingly.

There are many ways to process the surface of films, and corona treatment is one of them.

Gravure press machine should be equipped with corona treatment. While processing, it only need put the film into electrode roller. After processing, it can do the printing directly.

Principle of corona treatment

1. Electric shock or electric breakdown

With high electric field, the shock of electron flow to plastic film can make film fluzz and rough to enlarge the surface area. When adhesive is touching the surface of film, it can bring a good infiltration which makes the printing very good.

2. Increase the polarity of film

With high electric filed, the oxygen in the air will change into ozone, and ozone will become oxygen and oxygen atom. The oxygen atom is one kind of strong oxidants which can oxidate the α-carbon atom of polyethylene and polypropylene to get carbonyl and hydroxyl. With this, the molecular of polarity and surface tension of film will increase. At the same time, the appetency to adhesive will also increase. And the bond fastness between films will increase.

Besides, because there is carbonyl, it will make molecular chain produce new α-carbon atom, and active hydrogen. The active hydrogen can set off a chemical reaction with noc in the polyurethane adhesive to produce the solid chemical bond between the films and adhesive which can increase the fastness.

Attentions

1. While the machine is working, the fan and air outlet should not be blocked by anything else. The main engine should not be fixed at where appressed against iron materials. And the iron materials should stay away with this machine at least 4cm.Or it will increase the electricty coomsupmtion and the temprature.

2. Pls maintain the high voltage parts after 5 mins when the machine stops. Or the workers maybe get shocked by the eletricity which is installed in the machine.

3. The main engine should be matched with the structure.
