Clear Silicone Hose is an excelent choice for applications involving temperature extremes. This, strong electrical properties and self-extinguishing capability makes it a good choice for appliances and computer applications.

This tubing is peroxide-cured and contains no sulfur or other acid-producing chemicals. This eliminates almost all staining, corroding, or deteriorating other materials it comes in comtact with. It is highly resistant to U.V. and ozone, even over extended periods of time.

This Clear Silicone Hose is not recommended for implantable or for continuous steam applications. It can be low pressure steam sterilized in-line or autoclaved at up to 250°F in a normal autoclaving cycle with limits. If it is exposed to repeated steam sterilization or long-term high temperature or pressure it will eventually relax and become gummy and should be replaced.
