Multiple cable management options

The depth of the 4220 rack has been increased to 1071mm, allowing not only deeper servers, but also room to manage cables. Large size open base and double side panels, plus both sides are partially removable, finishing cable selection more.

The top and bottom ends of the back frame are equipped with detachable tail poles, which can solve common problems of power supply and wiring. The tail rod can be re connected after the cable is installed.

Excellent cooling effect

The 4220 rack front and rear doors 80% are drilled with mesh to enhance ventilation effect. It's deeper than the old Dell rack (1071 millimeters versus 1000 millimeters), so there's more room for hot air to escape from the rack. Elastic windshield prevents hot air from flowing from the back to the front and solves many common hot air circulation problems on the rack.

To match the thermal efficiency data center topology arranged in the hot and cold channels, its base meets the standard 2-foot floor tile specifications and is most effectively exposed to cold air.

Important new PDU mount function

In addition to the U-space distribution unit (PDU) mounting mode, the PowerEdge 4220 rack cabinet also allows 0U PDU mounted to the side or along the cabinet door mounted in the back, completely without tools. Since the gap between the server back panel and the PDU socket is larger than the old Dell rack, the PDU mounted along the back door does not affect ventilation.

Chang Jian solid and safety

The rated static load of the 4220 rack is 1134 kg, and no special infrastructure is required even if more devices are installed.

The rack is attached with an anti-tilt bar, which can be fixed to the floor or a "connecting set" to be tied to the adjacent rack.

Front and rear cabinet doors can be locked, whether in the data center, remote office, computer room or even factory buildings and other environments, can protect its safety.
