Kantha is the ancient Indian art of embroidery ,actually the kantha is a simple running stitch. The way in which the stitch has been used is what makes the quilt extraordinary.
Beautiful long jackets for women. Very fine kantha quilts used to make these masterpieces.
The quilts are lined with another cotton between 3 layers of cotton. These 3 layers makes the jackets warmer and stronger.
Both side have different prints so it is reversible and unique.
