We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company Prasid Pashmina Industry, as one of the leading manufacturer and exporter of Cashmere (Pashmina) products based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

We have been in this business for more than twelve years and our main exports have been to USA, Canada, Belgium, Germany, France, Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Italy, UK, Hong Kong, Denmark, Switzerland, Norway, Greece, Sweden, Taiwan, India, and South Korea.

Prasid Pashmina Industry manufactures Cashmere (Pashmina) Woven and Knitted products Shawls, Scarves, Stoles, Ponchos, Mufflers, Throws, Blankets, Bags, etc. of various sizes, qualities and colours. We have our own manufacturing facilities for Knitted Cardigans, Sweaters, Caps, Gloves, Hats, Ponchos, Twin Set, Collar Neck, V-Neck, Key-Hole Neck, Round Neck, Turtle Neck, Hi-Neck etc. in various knitting styles such as plain, cable, net, etc. The designs are available in various ply yarn such as 100% Cashmere, Cashmere / Silk, Cashmere / Bamboo, Cashmere / Wool, Cashmere / Cotton, 100% Wool, 100% Cotton, 100% Silk, Wool / Katan Silk, etc. We have our own factories and are doing Knitwear production on Hand Flat Knitting Machines.

Prasid Pashmina Industry encourages employment of marginalized families in its production and particularly emphasis for the active participation of women for their economic upliftment. The company trains skilled workers in Cashmere (Pashmina) weaving.

We are attaching herewith for your reference an excel file giving our best export price offer for our Plain Solid Dyed Cashmere (Pashmina) products in single ply in different qualities on FOB Kathmandu, Nepal basis.

We also do additional work on our Cashmere (Pashmina) products other than normal plain solid dyeing, such as Hand Embroidery work, Glass Beading work, Block (Screen) Printing work, Shaded (Ombra) work, Reversible (Two-Faced Two Tone) work, Jacquard designs, etc. The additional cost for each design varies depending on the intricacy of the work to be done and we can quote you the prices once you have decided on the style required. We can send the pictures in different styles and colour chart on your request.

Our Terms and Conditions are as mentioned below:

1. Terms of Prices Quoted : The prices are based on FOB Kathmandu, Nepal basis. The prices are negotiable for orders above 200 pieces.

2. Terms of Payment : We accept the payments as Advance Payment (through Telex Transfer) or through Irrevocable Letter of Credit (Payable at Sight).

3. Quality Availability : We are producing in many different qualities - first quality is where the products are produced using pure 100 % pashmina wool yarn in both the warp and the weft, and the second quality is the pashmina/silk quality where the pashmina wool yarn and high quality fine silk yarn are woven together in different ratios of 70:30, 60:40 and 50:50, the pashmina wool yarn is woven across a fine silk yarn warp to give it the compact size, strength, shine, beauty and warmth. We can also produce 100% Sheep Wool quality as well as Wool mixed with Katan Silk. Finally, we are also producing 100% Silk products.

4. Minimum Order Quantity : The size wise minimum order quantity is - for Shawls and all sizes of Stoles minimum should be 25 pieces, for Mufflers and Scarves the minimum order should be 50 pieces, for Throws and Blankets the minimum order should be 25 pieces and for Baby Blanket the minimum order should be 15 pieces. Please also ensure that the orders are a minimum of five pieces per colour.

5. Delivery Period : We can do about 2,500 to 3,000 pieces of shawl size product per month for Plain Solid Dyed design. Lead period required for the first order is 20-30 days as per the size of the order. Thereafter, we can canalise the supply every month if it is regular. Lead period could be less if the workload of orders is less in the factory.

6. Packaging : For all our pieces, packing is done in single plastic bags and then packed in a corrugated box, in a lot of 100 to 150 pieces in each box.

7. Colours & Shades : Regarding the colours, please note that, all our products are dyed using azo free and eco friendly dyes, and these dyes are produced by Clariant company from Switzerland. We can do any colour that you provide us with, otherwise once you are ready to place the orders we can send you our comprehensive colour chart and you can then choose any colour from there. We also work with Pantone and Telephone (Neelam) Shade cards. You can also check some of our colours on our website prasidpashmina com but as the presentation of the colour depends on the monitor, you should be ready to accept certain variation in the actual colour.

8. Tolerance Limit : +/- 5% variation should be acceptable in the size, weight, colour, etc.

9. Samples Availability : As a company policy we do not send samples free of cost, as you can very well understand that Cashmere (Pashmina) products are quite expensive and it will not be possible for us to send free samples to all. However, we can send you our colour chart along with the swatch samples of our various qualities, free of charge, on your request.

10. Certifications (for Products and Country of Origin) : We can also provide you various documents and certificates from the Handicraft Association of Nepal on the contents of the materials, Form "A" (under Generalised System of Preference - GSP) and a Certificate from the Chamber of Commerce regarding the country of origin of the goods.
