Coated Glass
In coated glass, silver and metallic oxides are sputtered on the surface of glass by way of magnetic control vacuum sputtering to form low-radiation films, in which silver film is a functional film, and the metallic oxides can protect the silver film. LOW-E can make glass emittance lower to 0.04-0.12 from 0.84.
Hollow glass composed of LOW-E glass can reflect over 98% far IR radiation while visible lights pass through it, it keeps indoors bright and reduces indoor heating load to an extent.
