Portability
The Multi-Dop® T series has been designed to fulfil the needs of the routine and monitoring applications in an ergonomic, portable design. The unique customised housing of the Multi-Dop® T series incorporates an integrated thermal printer, TFT monitor and carrying handle.
Unilateral or Bilateral Monitoring
The Multi-Dop® T comes in either a unilateral (Multi-Dop® T1) or bilateral (Multi-Dop® T2) monitoring version with multirange. Therefore, the Multi-Dop® T can meet the needs of the routine Doppler diagnosis with its automatic routines, or can fulfil the advanced requirements of a Stroke Unit with bilateral monitoring and emboli detection.
Upgradeability
The Multi-Dop® T series has been designed to enable the unit to be upgraded locally from a Multi-Dop® T1 to a T2, should the need require.
Routine Doppler
The Multi-Dop® T offers 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 MHz Doppler frequencies. This offers the user complete flexibility for a variety of routine applications. Automatic examination programs and Doppler settings can be started by simply clicking on selfconfigured buttons on-screen.
High Quality Doppler
DWL’s internationally renowned high quality Doppler signal has been implemented in the Multi-Dop® T. This ensures that even in the more difficult of acoustic windows that the Multi-Dop® T signal clarity will assist diagnosis and save time.
Ease of Use
The software has been developed with the utmost attention to ease of use and time saving features. The clearly structured functions are executed using either keyboard, remote control, or mouse.
Multi-Range for Emboli Detection
The systems are equipped with one (T1) or two (T2) 2-channel Multi-Range Dopplers. The Multi-Range Doppler reduces the challenge of differentiating emboli from artifacts to a minimum. Since emboli travel through the vessel, they are detected at different gates at different times. Artifacts, on the other hand, show up at all gates at exactly the same time. Special algorithms provide the user with information during the recording. The data can be re-analysed and postprocessed in off-line mode.
Functional TCD
Functional tests enable the pre- and post-operative evaluation of the hemodynamic parameters of different parts of the brain, and are a useful aid to determine the hemodynamic relevance of vessel lesions. The Multi-Dop® T offers the following tests: Determination of the vasomotoric response (CO2 test, VMR test); Determination of CCP; Autoregulation test; Evoke-flow test; VasoChecker® Software (Optional).
