Customized Sintered Alnico MagnetsSintered Alnico magnets are formed by compacting fine Alnico powder in a press and then sintering the compacted powder into a solid magnet. The powdered mixture of contents is pressed into a die under tons of pressure. It is then sintered in a hydrogen atmosphere at 2300F and then cooled – either within a magnetic field or without a magnetic field. When cooled within the magnetic field it is known as an anisotropic magnet and when cooled outside of a magnetic field it is called an isotropic magnet. The sintering process is well suited to large volume production.Dimension ToleranceUp to .125" Up to 3.18 mm ±.005" .13 mm.126" to .625" 3.20 to 15.88 mm ±.010" .25 mm.626" to 1.250" 15.90 to 31.75 mm ±.015" .38 mmAdvantages and Disadvantages of Alnico Magnets1.Alnico Br as high as NdFeB at room temperature.2.Can be used up to 450-550 degrees C (842-932F).3.Least variation in magnetic output with temperature change of any magnetic material. 4.Can be cast in very large sizes.5.Sintered alnico is usually limited to small to medium sizes and simpler shapes.6.Low coercivity (Hci) making them easy to demagnetise.7.Complex cast alnico sometimes needs sand mold tooling which can be expensive if existing tooling is not available.Production Properties:Our regular sizes for reference:Applications:Mainly used for a variety of Meter,Website: , Odometer, Sensors, Motors, Multimeter, Telephone, Mobile, Watermeter, Eletricitymeter, Switch, Adhesion, Loudspeakers Port machines, Musical instruments, Magnetic chucks, Educations, Magnetic Bases etc.
