The urban waste water can be reused for the urban landscape and greenbelt, street washing, industrial water, irrigation and other industries or sectors with low requirements for water quality. It has been developed and utilized as a second water source. There have been several urban wastewater management strategies such as Biological Contact Oxidation, Biological Aeration Filtration(BAF), Cyclic Activated Sludge System(CASS), Membrane Bioreactor(MBR) and etc. After processed by sewage treatment system, the water quality can meet the EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive (UWWTD) and the same effluent standards.
