Savonnerie was first began production from a center of a French Carpet mill in the mid 17^th century, these carpets were mostly owned by the wealthy and upper-class people in Europe. Designs of Savonnerie are consist of floral arrangements, military and heraldic reference and complicated medallion. Warps were made out of cotton or linen and the woolen pile was woven using the symmetrical knots. All of our carpets have magnificent colors, tasteful designs and exquisite workmanship.
