PoE Features
The TS1600G/TS1608G can provide up to 32Watts of power to attached devices, such as VoIP phones, wireless accesspoints; surveillance cameras etc, all over existing cat. 5cables. The switcheliminates the need for individual power sources for devices in the network,saving on costs for power cables and avoiding power outlet availability issues.
Overload Arrangement
TS1600G/TS1608G have the priority function which will help protect thesystem when the system power is overloaded. If all PoE PDs power consumption is>=160/240/300W, a priority will be arranged among the PoE ports, then thesystem will cut off the power of the lowest-priority port(The larger portnumber, the lower priority).
Application
Providing 16(or8)-Port PoEin-line power interfaces, the TS1600G/TS1608G can easily build a powercentrally-controlled IP phone system, IP Camera system and Wireless AP groupfor the enterprise.
