The characteristics of GRP tanks are:
1. Lightweight, the density of FRP is 1.5~1.9g/cm^3, it is one-fourth of steel, but its strength is more higher.
2. Corrosive resistant, it can store the medium of acid or alkali or salt through choosing deferent kinds of resin.
3. Low thermal expansion coefficient, good property of thermal isolation.
4. Forming easily and maintains convenient, the type of the covers or bottoms can be made flat bottom, cone bottom or elliptic bottom.
5. Good low temperature resistant.
6. Good sanitary index.
7. The maxi tanks can be manufactured on site.
8. The parts of level, railings, ladders and platform, can be made accordance with the requirements. The water quality can meet the standard requirement of GB5749 Sanitary Standard for drinking.
The wide range of panels consist of 2mx1m, 1mx1m, 1mx0.5m and 0.5×0.5m sizes, in varying configurations for use in side, bottom and top, which enables us to assemble。
Sealant
All joints&bolts are sealed with Synthetic Rubber materials.Internal&External Reinforcements:
For all tanks over one meter high-extra reinforcements are required. Internal steel tie rods and External steel sections are Hot Dipped Galvanised as per standard.
Physical Properties:Will not corrode,GRP tanks Long Life,Normal fittings can be used, Light weight and extremely strong。
The sectional range is further GRP tanks enhanced by the Pre-insulated panel.
Fixings & Fastenings
All nuts/bolts and washers in contact with the water are of stainless steel . Non-immersed nuts, bolts and washers are either zinc plated , passivated or galvanised .
Supports For Panels
The panels shall be supported externally or internally by an adequate support system Elements of external supports shall be hot dip galvanized. Interior supports shall be chemically resistant to the quality of stored water.
