The production line of Prss-Casting HDPE fittings machine
The press-casting(PC) HDPE fittings technology is invented by us based on our many years' experience in the HDPE fitting production. This is the best solution to produce big diameter HDPE pipe fittings. It is new technology combined with extrusion, injection, hot runner forming technology.
Compare the injection molding technology, this technology is of low investment, high production low power consumption.
For example, to make the complete 630mm flange(SDR11, ISO 4427), the injection molding machine is 80000grams.

Note: the moulds price is without hot runner system, if with hot runner, the price will be about 1.2 to 1.5 times.
If the injection moulds is without hot runner, there will be many fish eyes in the fitting due to the material crystallization after cooling, the inner tension is high, and production quality cannot be controlled. If the mould is with hot runner, the cost of the moulds is very high and maintenance and operation is difficult.
Considering the above issue, we develop the new press-casting (PC) to produce the big diameter HDPE fitting. PC technology is combined with extrusion, injection, hot runner and accumulation cylinder technology. It can make the HDPE fittings with the diameter less than 1200mm, such as flange, cap, socket, reduced socket, and less than 630mm fittings, such as TEE, elbow, saddle,etc
The machine consists follow unit

6. Simple lather machine, to finish the surface
We select the standard four pole hydraulic pressing machine as the forming base with our modification. To adopt the accumulation cylinder supply the melt material during the production after extruder stop to ensure enough material for production. The moulds is with hot runner system. The moulds structure is simple due to the hydraulic machine take most of moving function. So the moulds cost is low and service life is long.
