MOB-100 AIS Survivor Recovery System
The MOB-100 (Survivor Recovery System) is apersonal AIS (Automatic Identification System) device designed to be fitted toa lifejacket and assist in Man Overboard recovery. It is lightweight, compact,and designed for intended to be carried by all crew members.
MOB-100 transmits target survivorinformation, including structured alert messages, GPS position information anda unique serialised identity number back to the onboard AIS plotter. An inbuilthigh precision GPS receiver provides accurate position information to assist inquick recovery of survivors. It will transmit continuously for a minimum of 24hours and has a 5 year battery storage life.
It also features a flashing LED indicatorlight, to aid detection at night and a self test facility with battery useindication.

How MOB-100 works
• MOB-100 can be activatedmanually or automatic actived in water
• Aunique emergency alert is transmitted to all AIS receivers and AIS enabledchart plotters within a 3 mile radius (typical)
• AnAIS SART emergency icon signals the requirement for urgent help in a ManOverboard situation.
• Precisetarget survivor information including GPS position becomes viewable when thechart plotter* cursor is positioned over the emergency alert icon.
• Providesexact location, range and bearing to locate person(s) in need of assistance.
