TYGON 3350 tubing
• Formulation: TYGON: 3350 silicone, platinum cured. . Applications: Pharmaceutical, cosmetic, industrial, and auto-analysis applications.
• Characteristics: Ultra-smooth inner surface reduces particle entrapment and minimizes
bacterial growth. Good for mild to medium concentration bases, salts, and alcohols- is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. Transparent.
• Certification: EIastomer is FDA-compliant (21 CFR 177.2600); meets USP Class VI requirements and NSF criteria. Tubing is manufactured according to GMP.
We recommend you to use Prefluid approved tubing!
The tubing decides pump performance significantly.
Resilience determines suction lift; tubing hardness
determines pressure; elasticity determines tubing life;
bore size determines flow rate and tubing wall thickness determines pump working efficiency.
There are two types of tubing to choose from, each one consist of different material, Prefluid tubing and Prefluid long-life tubing. They own similar chemical performance. Under
the same condition, Prefluid long-life tubing will bewith much longer use life. In the event you need to run your pump for a
long duration, we recommend you use Prefluid long-life tubing. Prefluid tubing is the number one option, when using Prefluid requirements.
Tubing Life
The factors which will influence tubing life include pump speed, pressure, tubing material and its chemical compatibility, and fluid abrasion rate.
The chart to the right displays the maximum continuous running time of 17# and 25# tubing under the condition of speed of300rpm, temperature of 23°C (73°F). The result is the average number of 10 samples.
