Production Description

Demisters can reduce the residence time required to separate a given liquid droplet size thereby reducing the volume and associated cost of separator equipment. Demisters are often used where vapor quality is important in regard to entrained liquids particularly where separator equipment costs are high (e.g., high pressure systems) or where space or weight savings are advantageous.

Gas-liquid separation happens under the action of bending streamline and inertial force of air flow while flue gas passing into mist eliminator. Part of the droplets are captured while crashing into mist eliminator blades. The droplets constantly gather again on the mist eliminator blades. To a certain extent, they go back to the catharsis pool with the help of their own gravity. The remaining solid material in the mist eliminator blades is recycled to the catharsis pool under the effect of flushing water. The mist eliminator that runs in a cycle can not only play the role of demisting and purifying, but also avoid blocking that affects the normal operation of system.

Structure Characteristics
