Production Description

Single Desulphurization wet scrubber is made of carbon steel and lined with granite. Several modules are separated and assembled at site. (Or made as a whole steel-made tower and lined with granite.) Inside devices include three-level spray systems, two-level baffle demisters and three-level backwash spray equipments. The efficiency to get rid of SO2 can be up to 90%.

Corrosion prevention is the key of the desulfurization tower, with outer lining steel plate, inter lining granite, and middle acid-resistant castable; called heavy anti-corrosion structure (or flake resin instead)

Demister in large tower is made of GRPP, which can bear 130 ℃ flue gas and high speed flow washout. Modular demister is convenient for installation and replacement.

Spray layer includes mother pipe and branch pipe, branch pipes arrange in pairs, which is made of FRP (or 316L stainless steel) with silicon carbide hollow-cone type nozzle (or 316L spiral nozzle). The spray tower commonly deals with huge amount of flue gas; eg. Power station boiler and Steel sintering machine.

Principle of Operation

Desulphurization spray layer is based on the upper part of the tower, the absorption tower slurry circulating pump corresponding to each spray layer. The nozzle configuration of spray layer is simulated designed by professional software in order to ensure good contact with alkali and acid reverse gas reaction; and finally reach purification effects. Demister installs in the upper desulphurization tower, a total of two levels. The net is used to separate the entrainment of flue gas cloud droplets, and droplet concentration in flue gas export from mist eliminator is less than 75 mg/Nm3 (dry basis). At the same time, the equipment also has spray washing device to the tiny dust particles adhesion and desulphurization of flue gas crystallization on the demister system resistance increases.

Installation Statement
1 After ensuring the position of desulfurization spray tower, infrastructure should be covered normal mortar, the horizontal position should be found after installing the first section according to the number of each section.
2 Please ensure the consistency between inlet center of the device and the boiler outlet duct center. The connection should be smooth to reduce the resistance of the system.
3 When hoisting one section, rub the furan resin daub dispatched together with the equipment and then apply furan powder as well as furan resin daub at a ratio of 2.5:1. Then stir and pave them evenly on the annular face of the shell, about 1 to 2 cm thick. When stirring the daub, we shall control the time.
4 After acid-proof mortar is used to connect sections, joint should be filled with furan resin daub.
5 Spray pipe, mist eliminator, back washing pipe should have been installed. If somewhere need to be welded, please pay attention to falling sparks to light up mist eliminator.
6 After the completion of hoisting the whole equipment, daub shall be used to fill full the notch of each section connection and build a slope that is inclined in a downward way so that the rain dew will not accumulate at the seams of the equipment under outdoor environment.

Points for Attention

1.Tower should operate under the water state in case of affecting its service life.

2.When designing mist eliminator system, the effect of flying ash concentration in the inlet of FGD device should be taken into consideration. The system should also include water flushing and drainage system which can clean up sediments in the mist eliminator. The sediments can be cleaned up automatically or by man. Flushing water is process water.

3.Water quality of desulfurization liquid should be promised. Filter must be installed in main circulation pump to prevent impurity particle and massive slurry from entering into spray system and avoid pipe wear and nozzle clogging.

4.According to technological requirements of desulfurization, PH value of liquid should be controlled efficiently in case that basic supersaturation of liquid causes crystallization. If superacidity will reduce the efficiency of desulfurization and affect service life of corrosion-resistant materials.
