This device provides a low cost solution fordelivering power over the network cable. This scheme allows power To be carried on 10/100 networks overthe spare, unused pairs of a CAT5, CAT5E, or CAT6 Ethernet network cable. The source power could be the powersupply that came with the wireless access point, IP video surveillance Camera, etc. Or it might be anotherpower supply. 

This set contains a very cost effective injectorand breakout or splitter component. The injector inserts the DC Voltage at the source location intothe injector plug. The DC voltage is then carried over the spare pairs of the 10BASE-T or 100BASE T network cable.The breakout or splitter extracts the DC voltage from the network cable Onto the splitter jack. Thiseliminates the need for an AC power outlet nearby any equipment being installedin Ceilings, on outside walls orother locations, where power outlets are not conveniently installed. Under theright Conditions, with standardPoE injectors, power may be carried over a certain distance limitation of asingle network Cable run.
