1. Features

The CNC double column vertical Turning Lathe model CK5280 is a super rigid machine with big machining capacities, stable & rigid structure, heavy job load and high machining efficiency.

The machine is equipped with two rams and two vertical tool heads. Rigid vertical tool head is equipped with a big ram for optimum power cutting performance. Electric encoder together with electromagnetic valves is integrated into the gear box. Gears are made of 40 Cr steel and precision ground for high precision and low machine noise.

The machine is designed and built to meet modern machining requirements of high speed cutting tools and carbide cutters on workpieces of ferrous, non-ferrous, composite and other materials.

Functions:  1. I.D. turning, O.D. turning, end-facing,

           2. cone turning,

           3. grooving, parting / cut off,

           4. drilling, boring, reaming,

           5. curve cutting,

           6. threading, etc.

2. Machine Body

The main body of the machine is made of high rigid resin castings with vibratory stress relief (VSR) aging treatment. Small cast iron bodies are hardened with high temperature. All the steel parts are thermal refined. 

3. Machine structure

DC110 kW main motor with precision speed regulator and gear box are adopted for drive of the table so that infinite variable speeds can be achieved within each speed range. Double row cylindrical roller bearing is equipped under the table. Precision ballscrews are used for drive of tool head vertically & horizontally. The cone inner ring of the bearing can eliminate radial clearance effectively for high precision and stable machining at high speed. 

4. Hydrostatic working table

Features of hydrostatic table adopted with constant flow synchronous pump:

a. low friction for permanent life of table,

b. heavy load capacity on table,

c. oil film between machine base and table absorbs cutting vibration & loads,

d. a safety mechanism controls the hydrostatic pressure for optimum safety. 

5. CNC system, control panel & electric cabinet

Siemens 802D s.l. CNC controller with reliable electrics (mainly ABB, Schneider, Siemens) is equipped on the machine. Centralized operation button and control panel stand is fitted for easier operation (German tech.)
