【Brewing Method】
Raised dark red enameled teapots of good heat-retaining property are generally used for brewing Liubao Tea. Or use capped dark red enameled cups for personal enjoyment. One can put 5 to 8 grams, in accordance to one’s personal drinking habit, of Liubao Tea in the teapot and brew with boiling water for 3 to 5 secs before pouring the soup out ( for the sake of washing tea leaves). Conduct the washing process for 2 times and then brew with boiling water for 7 to 10 secs before you pour the soup out in to tea cups for enjoyment. Time for brewing can be properly prolonged after several times. Then you can appreciate real essence of the precious tea.

 

【Functions and Effects】

Liubao tea belongs to warm-natured teas. Other than health benefits common to other teas, it is more distinct in effects of clearing heat and eliminating dampness, brightening eyes and clearing away heart-fire and assisting digestion. It can be drunk after meals to assist digestion or before meals to clear intestines. As scientific tests have shown, other than amino acids, vitamins and trace elements needed by human body, Liubao tea also contains a larger content of fat lytic enzymes than other teas. Therefore, Liubao tea is boasting a stronger effect of decomposing fat and lowering the content of glucolipid compounds, cholesterol and triglyceride within human body. Frequent drinking of Liubao tea can strengthen the stomach and nurture the soul, lose weight and build the body.

【Making Method】

When making Liubao tea, most often used tea set is tall dark-red enameled pottery (bigger tea set best). In case of making tea by an individual drinker, dark-red enameled cup with cover can also be used.

In making tea, put 5-8 grams of Liubao tea into the pottery to drinker’s like. Steep the tea in boiling water for 3-5 seconds, then pour away the water (to clean and moisten the tea leaves), repeat this for twice. And then infuse boiling water and steep it for 7-10 seconds, after that tea water can be poured into the cup to drink. With the increase of times tea leaves are steeped, drinker can prolong the length of steep time. In this way, drinker will be able to enjoy the real essence of the tea.
