1. Product discription

Silicone rubber has is a very versatile material by the mere fact that the temperature range is more extreme than other synthetics rubber. The silicone rubber is inert, very flexible and can be used in medical and FDA environments. In addition to temperature, silicone rubber has superior resistance to water and makes an excellent electrical insulator.

2. Performance of Silicone foam  

Temperature range -40°C- +200°C,short periods up to +260°C with several hours.

3. Advantage

1). Wide operating temperature - silicone foam has a temperature range of -67°F to 392°F (-55°C to 200°C).
2). Water sealing - the closed cell products offer good water sealing with relatively low compressive forces.
3). Dust sealing - open cell and closed cell products can be used for sealing out dust with low compressive forces.
4). Compression set resistance - silicone foam offers excellent compression set resistance (ability to rebound to original thickness).
5). UV and ozone resistance - silicone products have excellent UV and ozone resistance due in part to their inorganic backbone. This provides long term performance.
6). UL gasketing - most silicone foam products carried by  UL 94 flame rated  for gasketing.
