INTRODUCTION

The ACUMAN Cam is a digital scouting camera which is designed for activity and is resistant against water

and snow. It is equipped with built-in infrared LEDs, so that it can be triggered by any movement in a location,

then take high quality pictures or video clips.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES and SD CARD

1. Loading Batteries

We recommends using 8 AA batteries or 6V external battery for power supply. Make sure you install

the batteries with right polarity.

Inserting the SD card

The ACUMAN Cam has 32MB internal memory, which can hold about 18 photos. This is handy for testing and

getting familiar with the camera. But you will no doubt want to take more photos, an SD card is recommended.

Three Basic Operational Modes

· OFF Mode: Power OFF mode.

· ON Mode: Active Passive Infrared Mode.

· SETUP Mode: SETUP/TEST Mode,you can set up camera or playback the photos or videos clips.

Changing Parameter Settings in SETUP Mode First switch to the SETUP Mode. Press MENU button. Press RIGHT or LEFT key scrolls to the next or previous parameter. Press UP or DOWN key to select setting for the currently parameter. Press OK to save the new setting. Then switch to ON Mode to take photos or videos.

The SETUP Parameters and Settings List/Descriptions

Capture Number	1-3	Selects how many photos are taken in sequence per trigger in Camera mode.
IR LED Control	High /Medium/ Low	Controls how many LEDs fire when images are taken. ”High” =32 LEDs. Set to medium or Low if photos overexposed or camera in a close range.
Camera Name	Input	Allows the user to set a custom name for the camera. It is useful for ID purposes when multiple cameras are setup.
Video Size	1920x1080 720x400 640x360	video resolution
Video Length	10s	Settings start from 5s to 60s.
Interval	10s	It means how long the PIR sensor will be inactive after each triggering in ON mode.
Sensor Level	High/Normal/ Low /Auto	Select the sensitivity of the PIR sensor. The Higher level will make the camera more sensitive and be more easily triggered
Time Period Set	ON/OFF/N/A	A certain time period in a day when the camera can be triggered, while at the rest of time, the device will be shut off.
Format	Execute	Press OK to deletes all files stored on a card to prepare it for reuse.
Time Stamp	ON /OFF	Select ″ON″ to imprint the date & time on photo, select OFF″ ,for no imprint.
Set Clock	Set	Change the date and time (24-hr format only).
Set Timed Scan	ON/ OFF	Select \"ON\" to capture at present internal even no motion gets detected.
