Comparision between VRLA battery and Ni-CAD battery:
VRLA batteries have some disadvantages, e. G. Sudden death, loss of polarization of negative electrode and corrosion of positive electrode at elevated temperature, which shorten the service life of VRLA and lead to the failure of the whole system. Compared with VRLA cells, Ni-CAD cells have better ability to withstand deep cycling discharge, wide temperature variations and long service life.
