Integral Spiral Blade Stabilizeris designed to control hole deviation, prevent differential sticking andminimize dogleg severity and thus provide optimum drill bit's performance. It isdevided into Integral 3-Spiral Blade Stabilizer, Integral 4-Spiral BladeStabilizer. The unitized construction features three spiraled ribs designed tominimize downhole torque, reduce damage to the hole wall and ensure maximumfluid circulation. The IBS is well suited for use in most formations from softand sticky to hard and abrasive. It is available in both bottom-hole and stringdesigns, providing the flexibility to run it anywhere in the BHA.The IntegralBlade Stabilizers manufactured from high-strength alloy steel as a single piecetool. Fully heat treated, their strength, hardness and impact strength areattained to standard.
