3. Properties

   Dibasic lead stearate, relative density is 2.15 , melting point above 280℃ (with decomposition), refractive index of 1.60, over 100℃ easy caking, insoluble in water, soluble in diethyl ether,non-flammable and corrosive ,in acid decomposes into stearic acid and the corresponding lead salt,storage and transportation should pay attention to moisture. Dibasic lead stearate as a stabilizer and lubricant for PVC , has a strong heat-resistant and excellent lubrication function, it’s widely used in the production of rigid plates and pipes, used in conjunction with dibasic and tribasic salt can achieve very good synergy effects.

5. Usage

   Dibasic lead stearate as a stabilizer for PVC.  Mainly used for extrusion products, such as plastic pipe, corrugated sheet, wire and injection products.
