Introducing a brand new technology – HD-CVI (High Definition Composite Video)
High Definition has finally comes at an affordable price. Enjoy Megapixel recordings using your existing coax cable. All you have to do is replace your outdated DVR and analog cameras with our HD-CVI DVRs and Security cameras. Now you don’t have to go through the added expense and hassle of re-wiring to meet the needs of TRUE HD recording.
Added benefits of HD-CVI are being able to send video as far as 1,600 feet without repeaters and still enjoy High Definition Megapixel recordings without latency. Another benefit HD-CVI delivers is you can now control the On Screen Display (OSD), RS485 and Audio directly through the same coax cable used for your video transfer. You no longer have to fumble with the OSD at the camera or run extra control and audio cables.
Say goodbye to D1 recording and say hello to Megapixel resolutions at affordable prices. You will be amazed at the detail, HD-CVI can deliver. Plus, if you ever have to turn over your surveillance video to the authorities, Megapixel recording could be the difference between a positive identification & arrest or simply re-watching the crime at D1 resolution.
HD CVI Camera VS HD SDI Camera
1. Longer Transmission Distance
Both HDCVI and HD-SDI can transfer HD signal @720p/1080p, but HDCVI has a distinguished advantage at the transmission distance. With general transmission media, HD-SDI reaches 150 meters at most while HDCVI, at least, transmits 500 meters by using 75-3 cable and featuring low signal distortion rate.
2. Better Anti-Interference Capability
The anti-interference capability of HD-SDI solution is relatively poor when been placed against high-frequent radiation environment, which could lead to higher bit error ratio while the HDCVI adopts low-frequency modulation technology, making it free from the high-frequency wireless electric radiation to ensure stable video transmission at high image quality.
HD CVI Camera VS Megapixel IP Camera
1. Reliability
HDCVI adopts P2P transmission to ensure a smooth and reliable transmission; while the transmission of network camera is based on Ethernet and thus may lead to network jitter and packet loss.
2. Real-time
The network HD features video buer technology and the delay is controlled within 300 milliseconds in the general and fair networking environment; However, HDCVI
