Nimonic alloy belongs to the class of Nickel-Chromealloys.  It providesstable, austenitic and solid solution properties at the high temperatures. Ithas superior oxidation and scaling resistance paired with moderate strength atthe high temperatures. It is easily formed and welded. Nimonic alloy is used ingas turbines operations and commercial thermal processing operations, furnaceparts, nuclear engineering and heat processing devices.
