It is the large diameter & thick steel pipestructure below the generator of a windturbine that supports the turbine, houses the meters andwires, and keeps the turbine high above the ground level to protect thesurrounding area and people from the force of the blades. It is also the mainstressed components which need to be enough strength and rigidity to endurehuge wind pressure and shearing forces. The base also serves to elevate theturbine above surrounding obstacles that could otherwise block the wind. Thetower units are formulated to a large tube with a variety of accessories whichinclude platforms, ladders, cable fixings, positioning of switchboard and soon.

Some ofMEGATRO wind tower belong to sefl-support type, assame as taper monopole; MEGATRO's allwelded design provides maximum tower stiffness, minimum twist/sway andbending. Towers come with single pole and climbing ladder and restplatform and other tower accessories. After fabrication towers are delivered totake sand-blasting, then painting them one by one. First prime painting, then intermediate coat and as last finish painting.  

Allfabrication will be discussed by both parties and reach an agreement beforemast production.
