（1）According to the number of hoisting steel rope can be divided into the single ropecage and multi rope cage. Single rope cage for mine is not more than 400 meters,multi rope cage with mine over 350 meters.

（2）According to the cage layer can be divided into single, double and multi-layer cage.

（3）According to the guide type cage can be divided into steel wire cage and rigid cagetwo, rigid cage can be divided into the rail guide and the combination of steel cans.

（4）According to carrying car models can be divided into 0.5T, 1T, 1.5T, 3T tub cage.

Mine cage application

The cage is generally used for mine auxiliary shaft hoisting, for promoting personnel,equipment, materials, ores. For, in small mine, cage can be used as a hoisting, as promoting the use of coal, the cage is one of the important equipment in mine hoisting.
