1. Appearance and specification:
Appearance quality is determined by using visual methods; product specifications and dimensions should be measured with a vernier caliper or tape.
2. Physical properties of rubber:
1). Rubber tensile strength, elongation at break is measured according to the provisions of GB/T528.
2). Rubber hardness is measured according to the provisions of GB/T531.
3). Rubber brittle temperature test should be measured according to the provisions of GB/T1682.
4) Adhesive strength of rubber and fabric should be measured according to the provisions of GB/T532.
5). Rubber hot air aging test according to the provisions of GB/T3512.
6). Acid and alkali resistance test of rubber should be conducted according to the requirements of GB/T1690.
3. hydraulic and vacuum tests of finished Flexible Rubber Expansion Joints:
1). Hydraulic test of finished Flexible Rubber Expansion Joints should be conducted according to the provisions 6.3 of GB/T5563.
2). Vacuum test of finished Flexible Rubber Expansion Joints should be conducted according to relevant provisions of Chapter 2-5 of GB/T5567.
4. Displacement performance tests of finished Flexible Rubber Expansion Joints:
Displacement performance test should be conducted in accordance with Appendix A.
5. Shape and position of reinforcement bead:
Shape and position of rubber joint end surface reinforcement bead should be inspected with the X-ray fluoroscopy tests.
6. Test of water quality through Flexible Rubber Expansion Joints:
Test of water quality through Flexible Rubber Expansion Joints should be conducted by the provisions of GB/T5749 and GB/T17219.
