Description:
Rockwool (mineralwool) products is an economical light weight thermal insulation material which is well recognized as one of the best material for thermal and insulation purpose is manufactured from a mixture of natural rocks (basalt and dolomite) melted at high temperature to form a molten matrix, which is then passed through an air stream that cools the material and forms long fibrous strands. These strands are bonded together to form slabs, blocks, blankets, pipe covers and granulates (non-bonded). The material is chemically and biologically inert and free from plant pathogens.
Applications:
ROCKWOOL Party wall batts is designed to fill the small gap of 50-100mm between the aluminum frame and edge of the concrete slab occurs. For effective fire control between floors it is recommended to install our curtain wall batts by compressing into the cavity. It is a requirement that the product must be compressed by 15% of its thickness to be effective. This will serve to protect adjacent occupants and property from possible fire and smoke ingress.
