Rockwool high strength roofing board is exclusively designed for flexible waterproof roofing and flat roofing structure. It has excellent resistance to pressure, concentrated load and delamination as well as goods fireproof, waterproof, acoustic and thermal insulation performance.
Applications:

ACOUSTIC
Tungkin Roofing Boards are proven to be the ideal acoustic insulation material for use in flat roof constructions and offers excellent acoustical properties for sound insulation and reduced impact noise. the open fibre structure of the roofing board makes it an excellent sound absorbing material.
FIRE SAFETY
•Tungkin Rofing board is fireproof and will not contribute in any manner to the spreading of a fire.
• Highest European fire class A1, according to EN 13501-1.
• Fully dimensionally stable, does not stretch, shrink or deform when exposed to fire.
• High temperature resistance. The melting point is more than 1000 oC.
• Tungkin roofing board does not cause smoke or burning droplets/parts in case of fire.
• In case of fire, no aggressive or environmentally unfriendly substances or gasses are released.
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
The excellent compressive strength and point load resistance of Tungkin Roofing Boards easily
enables foot traffic during installation and routine maintenance inspections of the roofing system. Some
completed roof may be required to have permanent loads.
MOISTURE
Moisture in the atmosphere is not attracted to the system.Tungkin Rofing board therefore easily meets
the ASTM C1104/1104M requirements.
WATER REPELLENT
Water absorption of Tungkin Roofing Boards is<0.5kg/m2(short term partial immersion). This is in compliance with EN 1609.
CONDENSATION CONTROL
Tungkin Roofing Boards will assist in the reduction of condensation and black-spot mould in buildings, provided that cooling, heating and ventilation is adequate.
DIMENSIONAL STABILITY
Being made from stone, Tungkin Roofing Boards are dimensionally stable and the thermal coefficient of expansion isvirtually zero.
Tungkin Roofing Boards therefore:
a) do not require any additional mechanical fasteners to prevent differential thermal expansion
b) do not exert any undesirable stress on the waterproofing membrane
