KB0S is available for use in two supply systems (normal supply system and spare supply system) having rated voltage up to and including 690V and rated current from 0.16A to 100A, intended for power transfer from abnormal supply to spare supply to ensure the reliable and safe supply of power. Class CB KB0S is capable of making, carrying and breaking currents under normal conditions, including specified over load conditions, and of making, carrying and breaking currents under abnormal conditions (such as short-circuit). There are two types of ATSE: KB0S and KB0SP. KB0S is applied based on the basic type KB0 with rated current up to and including 100A, combined with voltage relay, mechanical interlocker and electrical interlocker, formed as class CB or class PC ATSE. Reverse time delay, definite time delay and instantaneous protections are available for class CB ATSE. KB0 with corresponding ratings can be used as short circuit protection device in the upper stem of class PC KB0S. KB0SP is designed having rated current 250A used for class PC ATSE. With its advantages of compact size, reliable control, complete protections, easy wiring and remote control, KB0S is suitable for use at the terminal of loads. The main data of its main circuit and auxiliary modules are as same as those of basic type KB0. KB0S must be used with auxiliary contacts F21 or F32 and left side auxiliary contacts L12 or L21. But it shall not be equipped with shunt release. If the normal supply system is of normal voltage, the normal supply is under absorbing state, and the spare supply is under open state, and the main circuit is closed. KB0S is under normal working condition. In case the under voltage, over load, or phase failure occurred in the normal supply, the detecting system of VAC is able to detect the voltage signal, and gives transfer switching signal to the spare supple, and the normal supply is in the open state, and at the same time the spare supply has been absorbed, and the main circuit is closed.. KB0S is under normal working condition. When the normal supply is recovered to normal condition, and transferred from spare supply to normal supply, the spare supply is opened. In case the over load, over current, phase failure, or short-circuit happens in the circuit, the normal power supply and the spare power supply can be opened simultaneously. KB0S is of modular design based on the basic type KB0. The basic type of the product is class CB product. The functional modules and accessories as well as different protective functions such over load, over current, phase failure and short-circuit are available for selection to your needs. It is also able to have remote automatic control and local manual control. Functional indicators and signal alarms are available on its front plate.
