Recorded HDV video can be conveniently edited with a choice of available HDV non-linear editing software. Capturing widescreen 16: 9 HDV 1080i video on standard MiniDV tapes, the HDR-FX7E can also record and playback standard definition DV format signals. 40% smaller and 25% lighter than the first-generation HDR-FX1E, the HDR-FX7E Handycam combines superb performance with a wide range of manual control functions and exceptional battery life.
