Product Introduction

        This product includes a Sender (Remote KVM Sender) and a Receiver (Remote KVM Receiver). It can extend power switch, keyboard, mouse, video port of computer max up to 300 meters. User can remotely switch on/off computer or use computer. It provides a KVM port on sender part for local use. Such as user can put the desktop into a data service center, then put the computer in a much safer place, which is convenient and good for maintenance, data security and workstation management, and it also helpful to reduce the noise and heat, and could prevent lightning invasion and high potential hazards.

        This product can be widely used in data service center, industrial control, video education, bank telecommunications, enterprise computer management, family use etc.

 Installation Steps:

        Computer, PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse, VGA monitor and enough cable are needed before you install. Make CAT5 cable, CAT5 cable sequence: orange-white(1), orange(2), green-white(3), blue(4), blue-white(5), green(6), brown-white(7), brown(8). Make sure you have switched off the power before you install. Please follow the following steps:

        (1) Connect the KVM port of the Sender (K1,VGA1,M1) with the KVM port of the                   computer by using KVM link cable. Please take notice of the cables when connecting keyboard and mouse, i.e. the same color should be one pair.

        (2) If user needs to use local keyboard, mouse and monitor, then you should connect the keyboard, mouse and monitor with Sender (K2, VGA, M2), “K2” for keyboard, “M2” for mouse, “VGA2” for monitor. Do not connect them if user does not need.

        (3) Connect one head of the cat5e cable to RJ45 port of the Sender.

        (4) Install the power adaptor for sender

        (5) If you need to switch on/off computer remotely, then you have to install the following fittings( should be guided by the professional people): open the case, remove the power switch on the motherboard, use the link cable to instead of the power switch, insert one side of link cable to the PC2 port on Sender. If you want to switch on/off local computer, then connect the power switch on the motherboard in parallel.

        (6) Connect the remote keyboard, mouse, monitor to the corresponding ports of Receiver (K, VGA, M), “K” for keyboard, “M” for mouse, and “VGA” for monitor.

        (7) Connect the other head of the cat5e cable to RJ45 port of receiver.

        (8) Install the power adaptor of receiver.

        (9) Switch on the power of the Receiver, power indicator of the Receiver should be on.

        (10) Switch on the power of the Sender, now you can see the light of AC7.5V should be on.

        (11) Switch on the computer

        (12) Use screwdriver to adjust the “B” and “C” ports that on Receiver so that you can adjust the brightness and clearness of the remote monitor.  “B” is for brightness and chrome, “C” is for clearness.

        Keystroke Instruction

        1. The buttons “PC1” on sender and “PC” on receiver are the switch of the computer, which can be used to switch on/off the computer remotely.

        2. The local KM and remote KM can be switched by clicking any button of keyboard.
