The RDT51 comes with an upgradeable via computer USB for new models vehicles, specifications and updated diagnostic trouble codes. This is for the average guy who does it himself fixer uppers. The unit is very easy to handle, black lit LCD, erases trouble codes and determines the malfunction indicator lamp status. It can also detect the OBD check and retrieve the freeze frame information.
