Playboater waist sizes are a bit snugger than most for whitewater paddling, don't forget that the deck and waist tube will both stretch more when wet. You may wish to select a larger deck if you are just begining and if you paddle extreme whitewater it is essential you choose the correct size for safety. Every month new kayaks appear on the market with new cockpit rims. please don't assume that your old deck will fit your new kayak, or you may be looking at an unwelcome swim!
